Intel chip bug could give hackers your sensitive information

Intel processor

An exploit was recently discovered in Intel brand processors that could expose information on your computer, including passwords and other sensitive information.

Microsoft, Apple, and Google have released software updates to fix the bug, so be sure to upgrade your computer to the newest operating system version immediately.

Intel makes about 80% of processors on the market, so this impacts nearly all computers made as far back as 2011.

It is not yet known if anyone has used this bug to steal sensitive information.
